About Slavia Health Care

Slavia Health Care is an English-language insurance guidance and online arrangement project supported by Slavia pojišťovna. The project was founded by Bc. Richard Tauchman, a tied insurance intermediary of Slavia pojišťovna, and Pavel Koudelka, manager of the insurer’s Hradec Králové branch. This website is not the insurer and does not itself issue insurance policies, make underwriting decisions, receive insurance premiums or decide claims. When you select GET INSURED ONLINE, you proceed to Slavia pojišťovna’s own application, where the insurer confirms eligibility, policy terms and the final price. The insurer's application has its own terms and privacy information.

Information you choose to share

You can read our guides and use the indicative price calculator without submitting a passport, medical records or payment details to Slavia Health Care. If you contact us, we use your name, email address, selected question category and message to respond. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Supplying these details is voluntary, but without a working contact address we cannot reply. Please do not include sensitive medical documents, passport scans or banking information in the general enquiry form.

If you expressly request an optional email reminder, we process the email address and selected estimate details based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw. The separate reminder privacy notice explains confirmation, delivery and unsubscribe options.

Website functionality and analytics

The website may store your calculator preferences or a saved estimate on your device to make a return visit easier. You can clear saved details using the controls offered on the website or your browser settings.

We use optional Google Analytics based on your consent only after you choose to accept analytics in the website’s preference controls, and only when analytics is enabled on the live site. You can refuse optional analytics and still access the insurance guides and calculator. You may change your preference using Analytics settings when available.

Service providers and retention

Technical service providers may process information needed for website hosting, handling your enquiry, protection against automated submissions and sending expressly requested email reminders. We retain information for the period needed to respond, operate the requested service and meet applicable obligations; the precise period depends on the type of record. We do not sell enquiry details to advertisers.

Your choices and privacy requests

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent at any time, or raise another privacy concern, at info@slaviahealthcare.cz. Some requests are subject to legal conditions and retention obligations. In Czechia, you may also contact the Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ).
