After you arrange insurance

What happens after buying Slavia health insurance?

A simple checklist for your policy documents, Czech visa preparation and medical assistance. Your contract and payment are handled by Slavia pojišťovna, through its official application.

Your next steps

Four things to check

01

Check your email and policy documents

After the insurer processes your application and payment, check the messages and documents issued by Slavia. Look in your spam folder too. If anything is missing, use the insurer contact details in your confirmation or contact Slavia directly.

02

Verify your personal details and coverage dates

Check your passport name, birth date, start and end of coverage, insurance product and territory on the issued documents. If something is wrong, ask Slavia to correct it before submitting the documents.

03

Prepare your visa or residence documents

Your embassy or Czech authority may request an insurance certificate, policy contract or proof of payment. Follow the instructions for your specific application; do not assume the same set of documents is accepted in every case.

04

Save your assistance contact

Keep your policy number, certificate and the assistance telephone listed on your insurance documents accessible. For planned or non-emergency care, contact assistance to check the right procedure and provider. In a medical emergency in Czechia, call 155 or 112.

Important: This is an informational checklist, not confirmation that payment or policy issuance has succeeded. The issued insurer documents and policy terms are authoritative. Do not send passport scans, medical records or payment details through the general SHC contact form.
